I first discovered David Allen’s Getting Things Done sometime in 2006 while waiting on a printing job at Kinko’s. I was casually browsing the bookshelves and the title immediately grabbed my attention. I picked it up and read as much as I could while waiting on my printing job.

Immediately the book made a deep impression upon me, and so I purchased it at a discount with my QuickBooks FedEx Kinko’s discount card. I remember leaving Kinko’s that day feeling that I had accomplished much more than getting my printing job done. I felt that I was on my way to getting complete control over my work in my life.
